No puedo instalarlo, apenas pongo ./configure y me sale esto:

Instala gcc, g++, glib* y ld... por eso no me gusta Ubuntu  ;)

Y ya está. Sin descargar nada, todo está en el disco de instalación.

Ubuntu es para todo el mundo, desde desarrolladores/programadores, frikis, usuario finales, hasta para gente que no sabe que es un mouse...

En Ubuntu puedes hacer lo que sea. solo que para usuarios finales facilita mas las cosas, si quieres desarrollar igualmente lo puedes hacer.

Uf, me desesperé con este driver. Me dice todo el tiempo esto:

Y me monta solo una partición (/dev/hdb1), lo meto en el fstab, reinicio y ya no monta nada. <_<

Como dice leandrog, es para todo, pero lo tenes que transformar.
SlackWare  :D  o Debian, ¿Red Hat?
Je, je es igual que Widows, si queres programar en algo, instalalo (a menos que sea Perl, claro esta en Ubuntu, porque en Win...)
