C/C++ / PROBLEMA Loteria VisualS/C++/MPI

Hola a todos !!! , les hago una consulta estoy empezando con la programacion en c++ y en mpi ... encontre un codigo que simula el sorteo de loteria en msdn , el problema es que estoy tratando de implementar el codigo pero en c++ puro , porque estoy armando un cluster en linux, con el sistema operativo bccd, hay un par de funciones que no puedo darme cuenta correctamente como hacer para pasarla completamente a c++ sin usar la libreria windows.h y algorithm por ejemplo "result = find( Draw.begin( ), Draw.end( ), num );" este tipo de linea de codigos.. .. a ver si alguien puede ayudarme o aclararme un poco las ideas desde ya muchas gracias por pasarse por el post! y mucho mas por leerlo .. un saludo
